Bridging the Promise: Girl Scouts Then & Now

  • Bethel United Methodist Church — Fellowship Hall 129 West 4th Street Lewes, Delaware, 19958 United States (map)

Bridging the Promise brings generations together to honor the early 1960s segregated Black Girl Scout troops of Lewes and connect their legacy with today’s Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay. This meaningful community gathering invites former Scouts, current troops, families, and neighbors to listen, reflect, and help preserve an important chapter of local history.

The program takes place Wednesday, October 14, from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. 4th Street in Lewes. Advance seat reservations are requested.
