Slow down and look closer at one of coastal Delaware’s most rewarding natural spaces. Led by the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, this guided Hike & Chat follows the trails of the James Farm Ecological Preserve along Indian River Bay, with conversation about the plants and animals that call the preserve home.

The program is designed primarily for adults, though all ages are welcome. Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring water, sunscreen and insect repellent. The walk is weather permitting; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Attendance is free, but advance registration is encouraged, and walk-ups may be limited.
