Delmarva storyteller and author Jim Duffy visits Bethany Beach with a collection of true stories about the peninsula’s overlooked heroes—ordinary people whose courage, ingenuity and character left an enduring mark on local history.
Drawing from his work documenting the Eastern Shore, Duffy connects small-town lives with the larger story of the region. The program offers a warm, human-scale look at Delmarva heritage and the people who shaped it beyond the familiar names in textbooks.
Presented at Bethany Beach Town Hall. The program begins at 5 p.m.; confirm any registration or seating details with the Town of Bethany Beach before attending.
