Fires of the Revolution

  • Historic Lewes Town Campus 110 Shipcarpenter Street Lewes, DE 19975 United States (map)

Step into Revolutionary-era Lewistown after dark.

Fires of the Revolution transforms the Historic Lewes Town Campus into an immersive nighttime world of lantern-lit storytelling, street theatre and colonial protest. Gather beside a blazing bonfire, visit the Sussex Tavern and Lewistown Coffee-house, and listen as unrest and rumors spread beneath the Liberty Tree.

The evening culminates in a dramatic colonial-era protest tradition, placing visitors inside the tensions that reshaped British subjects into Americans.

Ready to ReHo™ Pick: This is living history at its most atmospheric—a distinctly Lewes experience built around place, performance and the glow of the fire.

Admission is $15 per person.
